General Policies
SHIPPING POLICIES: Due to the perishable nature of our products, we ship all orders FedEx overnight.
1. Please notify recipient when the Perishable Package will be arriving from Fed Ex.
2. Fed Ex will leave the package at the front door if the recipient is not at home.
3. Shipping days are MONDAY, TUESDAY, and WEDNESDAY excluding major Holidays. Orders require a business day for processing and then will be shipped on the next available shipping day.

Shipping prices are based on package weight. For orders weighing over 21 pounds, we will contact you via phone or e-mail with the correct shipping prices.
We cannot be responsible for delayed or spoiled packages due to incorrect delivery information or national or local disruptions in air or ground transportation networks due to events beyond our control, such as weather phenomena, strikes or natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes are examples of natural disasters). Re-routing of packages en route or at the point of delivery will result in an additional $10 charge.

About Us
Alaska Sausage and Seafood Company was founded in Anchorage, Alaska in 1963. Initially our company was well known for our processed game meats. For the hunters, moose, caribou, and deer were trimmed, boned, aged, and processed into steaks, roasts, and sausages with particular efforts made to create products of the highest quality.
Today this process continues and our company has since evolved to include a distinctive variety of products handled with the same care and attention to detail. Our popular line of delicious smoked salmon has become part of our tradition of quality. Each filet is hand selected, uniquely seasoned, and is well monitored during the smoking process to ensure that the moistness and rich flavor of the fish remains intact.
This extraordinary regard for detail, and the challenge of providing quality products to you, is what Alaska Sausage and Seafood was founded on and what it is known for today. It is our tradition and our promise to you.
